We are a non- profit organization incorporated in 1994. Our members are recognized and accredited Indian Companies engaged in the business of Ship Broking, Chartering and Marine Consultancy in India and empanelled with Government and major Chartering houses. AISCC is a national platform to collaborate, review, assist and present views on ship chartering business in India.

Ship Broking & Chartering service in India is an integral part of the Global Maritime Services Industry. The BALTIC Exchange, FONBSA and ASBA have set high standards of professional conduct for its members.

As the profession is globally inter-dependent on collaborative networks, is highly competitive and rapidly evolving, it is important to create a realistic, fair and equitable environment for the profession to prosper.

As the industry works on a self-regulatory system, one of the ways is to foster ideals and set standards of good professional conduct and practices amongst its players. This is possible when there is a level playing field and a code of shipping practice respected by all participants.

AISCC believes that industry players should be aware of the trade practices and should stand committed to uphold such time tested principles. It also believes that Indian Trade should primarily be serviced by Indian expertise.
